Sharing a Shutterfly book in your blog

September 17, 2012

A few months ago I reviewed photobook companies.  Shutterfly is convenient and a good value (plus they often have specials!).  You can customize the layout of each page (that can be tedious, having to rotate, add borders, add text boxes, select backgrounds, etc.)  Figure on about 15-30 minutes PER PAGE!

They’ve added a new feature where you can now embed the photobook in your blog.  By going to “share” you can embed a photobook to share with your fans.  Embed the code in the HTML section.  All you need to do is copy/paste and it’s there.  As an example, my summer vacation is shown below.

…Except nothing’s there. I’m actually trying to do the same thing right now, and I’m getting the same thing you got… there’s nothing embedded. You can “Click to View Larger”, but that’s it. Is there something in the code I need to tweak?

    • Are you going into the “code” section of the blog. You cannot paste it into the regular text. There are two tabs in the blog section, paste it in there and it SHOULD work. I have not worked with Shutterfly in the past year and some things MAY have changed. You can contact help @ Shutterfly.
