Do your images ever “disappear” when rotating them in Windows Explorer?

August 16, 2011

In Windows 7, you may “lose” your images after rotating them.  It seems this happens with McAfee users.  Although I like the program, this situation needs to be updated by McAfee.  However, below is a solution.  You have to be in the folder where the images disappeared.

1) Open the folder and go into folder options
2) Show hidden files
3) rotated  images will appear grayed out when done
4) select all files when done
5) right click and go into properties
6) uncheck hidden files

Hopefully this will work for you.
